Garden, two weeks ago, and yesterday.

There haven’t been any garden posts in awhile for me.  Mainly, because the garden is teaching lessons instead of giving produce, which is important in its own right as novice gardeners.  It’s not as satisfying as a basketful of squash, however.  : /  The Broc had side shoots, but it was covered in worms, so I bid it adieu.  Cabbage family: Irresistible to buggies.  The peppers are doing fabulous!!  And the red Brandywine is slowing down.  I understand why folks cut the tops out of their tomato plants, as the last blooms have ended up on the spindly sky high branches.  Onions got to golf ball size and fell over dead.  Lack of fertilizer perhaps?  We pull up a little carrot occasionally and slowly nibble it, just to see how they’re doing.  They’re doing great, btw.
